cute ways to do your hair

A simple 2 minute casual cute hairstyle

Step 1) mark where your temples are.

Step 2) Take that crown area (back hair section) and secure with a hair band, to divide from the rest of your hair.

Step 3) grabbing the side sections of your hair, brush it back and secure in place with a bobby pin. Use a comb if you need one, though I usually use my fingers. (optional) leave about an inch section of hair to frame around your face.

Step 4) Repeat with your other side.

Step 5) Release your hair that you tied with the hair band earlier and let it fall down. It should cover the bobby pins.

Step 6 (optional) You can even braid the ends to make this look extra fun and cute.

This works for layered or non-layered hair, giving a cute, casual choppy look that’s great for everyday.

thanks bubbi

Identifying your hair type is simple. there’s three types, fine, medium and thick. Fine hair usually doesn’t hold a curl easily, sticking to straight or wavy. it also doesn’t seem to stay in a ponytail well or hold up to styling products, and is often very light and soft feeling. If you have medium hair, it can be straight, wavy or curly, can hold products well, and the individual strands are usually a little bit bigger looking. for thick hair, it usually has a coarser, heavier feeling, and there’s usually a lot of it. Penelope Cruz has thick hair. If you go to your salon, the stylist should be able to tell you what your hair type is and what styles are suitable for it :)

I got stuck at the bit about the crown.. and the headband uh how do you secure it.. you cant realy see the headband in this :/

the crown, basically just the top back part of your hair. You know, like you’re putting your hair into a ponytail, but you only put up the top portion and leave hair underneath it. By headband I meant a ponytail holder, just use one of those and tie your hair in place :)
